Book : Da Planta ao Jardim
This is the second publication of "Da Planta ao Jardim" (From plant to garden).
It's a popular publication among amateur gardeners and enthusiasts.
The author, Assucena Tupiassú is a biologist specialized in ecology, art and sustainability. Besides she is a gardener teacher and conseulor in one of the most known gardens in São Paulo, the Ibirapuera park. For that second publication, my aim was to have an approach of the garden world, wich is full of experimentation, detail oriented practices and love. This area is experimentative, and much
of the knowledge is passed through conversations, linked to the sensitivity of those who learned from the experience of doing and teaching.
Like mothers and grandmothers who fed that old notebook with family recipes, sharing the knowledge gained over time and the experience
passed through generations.
The colors are earthy, striking and engaging, based on the richness of plants
of brazilian territory, and the minuntious planting of fruits and foliages, combined with an vintage look and feel.
